Brandon Flowers, my new least-favorite-person-in-the-world and lead singer of The Killers, is spewing off at the mouth, again.

You may remember Flowers from his idiotic assessment that, The Killers will soon out-shadow U2 or from his downing of Kurt Cobian (and Nirvana in general) on the 15th anniversary of the singers death.

Well, this loud mouth Mormon is up to his tricks again!

“Over here [in America], people are still so obsessed with Led Zeppelin and Nirvana, those sorts of bands, that nobody else is allowed [to grow]. It’s not just us; there are a lot of great bands that have been held down or confined by the influence of these people that we’ve put up on pedestals. I’m tired of it, you know? I just want to knock them all off!” – reports NME.com

Alright, I apologize for my vulgarity, but, who the fuck does this guys think he is? I’m not going to reaffirm his words and deify Zeppelin or Nirvana. I don’t have to. They’re icons for a reason.

The Killers have created six good songs in their career. That’s right, the first half of Hot Fuss is GREAT. I give credit where it is due. Everything else the band has done is mediocre and safe.

Hey Flowers! If the UK loves you so much, they can have you.
